“Hi guys, Michael Hawkins here with Colby Ag Center, and today I’d like to point out the agronomic features of the Patriot Sprayer by Case IH.
One of the hearts and souls of the agronomic advantage of the Patriot Sprayer is the Millennium Boom.
This one is 120-foot with reinforced trusses making it lightweight, easy to take and maneuver over terraces, especially with the built-in XRT autoboom height system.
This one is featured with the Aim Flex II system, and built-in spray pattern lights, making it easier to see your nozzle pattern in the dark when you’re spraying.
One of the advantages of the Patriot sprayer is the mixing station. This one is digitized to make it easier to see what you’re taking and doing on the fly.
We have it set on the side of the machine, but this machine is also equipped with a front fill station with 3-inch fill with air purge.
One of the other advantages of the Patriot system is the nozzle cleanout station. So when and if you take and plug a nozzle, you have the ability to clean it up on the go.
Another really nice advantage of Patriot Sprayer is we have the ability to take and add on an auto adjust axle feature.
So if we are taking and loading the sprayer onto the trailer quite a bit, we have the ability to program our exact spacing we need. So it’s not a guessing game when we’re loading.
This particular model is equipped with dual monitors. A Pro 1200 Case IH monitor and with the acquisition of Raven, we have a Viper 4+
When we talk about agronomics, one of the most important things we need to discuss that most people often overlook is the balance of the machine.
With the Patriot being in a rear engine, we have a almost true 50/50 balance, reducing compaction and actually giving you a better ride in the field
